Unsolved burglaries: Police asking for leads on 5 dollar store burglaries

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police are asking for leads on five unsolved burglaries of dollar stores.

Since Aug. 3, there have been five reported burglaries, one at a Family Dollar and the other four at Dollar Generals.

• Aug. 3: Family Dollar - 2500 SW 10th
  
  
• Aug. 19: Dollar General - 3510 S Osage
  
  
• Aug. 22: Dollar General - 7125 S Bell
  
  
• Aug. 23: Dollar General - 205 E Willow Creek
  
  
• Oct. 2: Dollar General - 4304 S Washington

The suspect has been primarily going after cigarettes.

In three of the five burglaries, the power to the building was cut.
