The trial for Bryan Kohberger, accused of killing four University of Idaho students, will be held in Ada County.

The Idaho Supreme Court issued the decision on Thursday, naming Judge Steven Hippler as the presiding judge over the case.

Kohberger's defense team raised concerns about a biased jury based on evidence in a survey the defense team commissioned.

On Monday, a judge granted a change of venue motion in the case, though he left the decision of where the trial will be and who will preside up to the State Supreme Court. A spokesperson for the Ada County Sheriff's Office tells CBS2 that when Kohberger is being moved to Ada County will remain secret due to security concerns. The timeline for when he could be transferred is not clear yet, but we will continue to update this story as we learn more.

In the ruling from Monday, a judge said evidence showed a "reasonable likelihood" that prejudicial news coverage would compromise Kohberger's ability to get a fair trial in Latah County.

The family of one of the victims, Kaylee Goncalves, issued a statement saying they were "incredibly disappointed" in the decision.

The family went on to say they felt the judge favored the defense.

This is a developing story and will be updated with more information.
