Suspect who police say asked neighbor for ride to Toot'n Totum, then robbed it, indicted for armed robbery

A man accused of asking a neighbor for a ride to Toot'n Totum and then robbing it was indicted for armed robbery.

According to court documents, Christian Alexis Coronado, 28, robbed the Toot'n Totum at I-40 & Lakeside Drive on June 18, 2023.

He walked into the store wearing a mask, pulled out a gun and demanded money.

After the clerk complied, Coronado put the barrel of the gun to the clerk's face and neck.

He then took off in a car.

After the driver of the getaway car dropped Coronado off, he went home and called police

According to court documents, the driver said a guy in his neighborhood asked for a ride to the store, but he had no idea he was going to rob it.

He said Coronado came running out and told him to "get in the car."

Coronado made him drive around for about an hour after the robbery.
