1 killed in crash on S. Bell

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A serious crash on South Bell has critically injured one person, according to Amarillo police.

Traffic was closed in both directions from Canyon Drive south to Scotty Drive until just before 4 p.m.

One car was driving south on Bell when the other pulled out of a side street with one of the vehicles getting t-boned.

One of the drivers was killed, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the other was not injured.

DPS took over the scene because they were the first ones there.
