AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Pars of Bell Street in Amarillo will be closed Wednesday night for an emergency water main repair.
According to the city, multiple southbound lanes, from 45th Street to Hillside Road, will be closed from 8 p.m. until 9 a.m. Thursday.
"The closure is necessary to address a critical main break which could impact water service in the area if not repaired," said the city.
The city said crews will work to complete repairs as quickly and safely as possible.
"Impacted businesses have been notified and barricades have been placed in the area to inform the public," said the city.
