Panhandle schools delaying start times Thursday due to winter weather

Road conditions

Bitter cold and poor road conditions have led several school districts in the area to delay the start of class on Thursday.

Vega and Boys Ranch ISDs were among the first to announce delays on Wednesday afternoon.

Temperatures are forecast to drop below zero on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
