Moore County honors Texas peace officers killed in line of duty in 2024

DUMAS, Texas (KVII) — Moore County honored the 19 Texas law enforcement officers killed in line of duty in 2024.

The ceremony was at 10 a.m McDade Park in Dumas.

ABC 7 News streamed it live on our website and Youtube channel.

Dumas Mayor Pat Sims and Moore County Judge Rowdy Rhoades read proclamations.

Dumas Police Chief Rick Pippins then spoke about the sacrifice made by fallen officers.

Cactus Police Chief Maribel Tiarzon and Moore County Chief Deputy Brandon Jones then read the names of the 19 Texas law enforcement killed in the line of duty.
