Ex-Tascosa High School volleyball standout transfers to Texas Tech

Former Tascosa High School volleyball standoutReagan Leinen is transferring to Texas Tech.

She began her collegiate career at Houston Baptist before spending three seasons at Southern Miss.

Leinen played in 60 matches for the Golden Eagles, racking up 238 kills. She was fourth on the team in kills this past season with 132.

"Reagan's a really versatile player and can help us anywhere in the front row. She's had a great career and I'm excited to bring her back home to West Texas for her last season," said Head Coach Tony Graystone.

Leinen was a three-year letter winner at Tascosa where she also played soccer.

Her father, Derek, played football at Oklahoma State University.

Leinen will have one one of eligibility remaining.
