Borger coach dies following complications from stroke

BORGER, Texas (KVII) — A Borger Bulldogs coach has passed away after suffering complications from a stroke on Sunday.

According to the Borger Independent School District, the coach was Coach Brad Hale.

In a post on the school district's Facebook page, they said Hale passed away at 10:09 a.m. Thursday, "after complications with a severe stroke on Sunday, December 8th."

The post goes on to note that "Coach Hale opted to donate his organs to those who can receive them so that another person has the chance at life."
