Body found near Perryton, Sheriff's Office investigating cause of death

OCHILTREE COUNTY, Texas — The Ochiltree County Sheriff's Office identified the body was found near Perryton.

According to Sheriff Terry Bouchard, 62-year-old Joni Lynn Moran was found dead Monday evening northeast of the city.

"The circumstances surrounding the death are unclear," said Terry Bouchard.

The cause of death has not been determined, and an autopsy was ordered.
