Police: Man busted with 500 images of child porn after girlfriend finds it on his phone

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A man accused of having 500 images of child pornography, including a child under 10, was indicted by a Randall County grand jury.

Mario Fuentes, 32, was arrested April 15 after, according to court documents, his girlfriend called police and told them she found child porn on his phone.

Police downloaded the phone and "found numerous pictures and videos of child pornography."

According to court records, Fuentes was in possession of "500 or more visual depictions of a child who was engaging in sexual conduct."

A child in at least one of the photos was under the age of 10.
